HUNTSVILLE | The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced their 2024 Division II All-America Awards and UAH volleyball's Autumn Mayes earned Honorable Mention out of the South Region for the second consecutive season. The announcement comes after she earned AVCA All-Region honorable mention last week.

Mayes earned Honorable Mention honors after a season in which she posted a 3.05 kills per set average on a 342 kill total. The senior from Dothan, Alabama, earned First Team All-GSC earlier this season and ranked second on the team in digs with 370 and a 3.30 digs per set average. 

The outside hitter also ranked fifth on the team in blocks this season with 47 with five solo blocks and 42 block assists.

Mayes is joined by fellow GSC players Lydia Paulette of Mississippi College (Honorable Mention) and Gabi Moulton of West Florida (First Team) on the South Region Team.
