HUNTSVILLE | UAH Athletics is excited to celebrate the University's Alumni Weekend this Thursday through Sunday with the men's and women's soccer Gulf South Conference opener on Friday followed by the UAH Athletics Hall of Fame induction ceremony and the Charger Tip-Off on Saturday evening.
 
The Chargers soccer squads will face off against the newest member of the GSC – Trevecca Nazarene – on Friday with the women's game at 5 p.m. followed by the men's contest at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free for both contests, courtesy of Alabama Credit Union.
 
UAH then celebrates seven Charger legends with the induction ceremony on Saturday for the UAH Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2024 at the Student Services Building. The ceremony is set for 5 p.m., with a reception beginning at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are still available for the UAH Athletics Hall of Fame ceremony.
 
After the ceremony, the excitement turns to Spragins Hall at 8 p.m. for the Charger Tip-Off at where all fans are invited to meet the Chargers men's and women's basketball teams ahead of the 2024-25 seasons. In addition to watching the Chargers in preseason action, one lucky UAH student will be selected from a drawing for a half-court shot to receive free in-state tuition (equivalent to two semesters or one year).
 
The Charger Tip-Off is open to the public and admission is free.
