Track & Field Finishes Weekend Action at RADD Sports College Invitational

OVERALL RESULTS

GAINESVILLE, Fla. | The UAH men's and women's track and field teams competed on Friday and Saturday at the RADD Sports College Invitational in Gainesville, Florida and posted seven top three finishes.
 
Men's Notable Performances
-Noah George (3rd, 8:22.12), Nathan Knox (6th, 8:23.18), and Jonah Frey (10th, 8:24.59) each placed inside the top 10 in the 3,000 meter run. 
-The men's 4,000 meter distance medley relay of Cannon Peters, Jaiden Young, Adam Taylor, Conner Patterson, and Dylan Dryer came in first place with a time of 9:58.99, a NCAA Division II Provisional Mark.
-Cole Robinson (14:39.20) and Tripp Miller (14:41.98) claimed second and third in the men's 5,000 meter run.
-Conner Patterson (1:54.25) placed sixth and Adam Taylor (1:54.43) placed seventh in the men's 800 meters.
-Adolfo Mireles placed third in the men's heptathlon with 4,700 points and Sage Robertson took seventh in the men's heptathlon with 4,291 points.

Women's Notable Performances
-Raegan Miller placed second in the women's pole vault with a height of 3.50 meters.
-The women's 4,000 meter distance medley relay of Tamsyn Gibbs, Anna Katherine Hopkins, Holly Sillivant, and Sophia Knox claimed first with a run time of 12:38.97.
-Lucy Barker (18:46.61) and Abby Weist (18:47.66) took sixth and seventh in the women's 5,000 meter run.
-Hope Collins took eighth place in the women's indoor pentathlon with 2,686 points.
 
Next Time Out
-The Chargers are back in action next Friday and Saturday as they will compete in the Louisville PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational in Louisville, Kentucky.
