Amiah Murry was a First Team All-American in the 400m and freshman
Hekla Magnusdottir earned Second Team All-American honors in the pentathlon.
Murry placed fourth overall in the 400 meters at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on Saturday with a 54.05 second mark to garner First Team honors. On Friday in prelims, she ran a 53.76 second time in the 400 meters which is a school record.
Magnusdottir took 10th place in the pentathlon with 3,669 points in the event. Her best mark in the pentathlon was a fifth place finish in the shot put with a 12.61m toss. She was the only freshman to compete in the pentathlon at the D-II Indoor Championships.
The Chargers will begin their outdoor season this weekend at the Ole Miss Classic beginning on Friday, March 20th.
