JACKSON, Tenn. | The UAH women's basketball team has earned a berth to the 2025 NCAA Division II South Region Women's Basketball Championships as the No. 6 seed with a first-round matchup on Friday against No. 3 seed Nova Southeastern.
 
The 2025 NCAA Division II South Region Women's Basketball Championships will be on the campus of No. 1 seed Union starting on Friday with game times being determined on Monday.
 
The South Regional field additionally features No. 2 seed Embry-Riddle, No. 4 seed Tampa, No. 5 seed Lee, No. 7 seed West Florida and No. 8 seed Miles. More information on the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championships.
 
UAH heads into the NCAA tournament with an overall record of 25-6 after reaching the Gulf South Conference tournament final for the third time in program history on Sunday. The Chargers 25 wins are the most by the program in the NCAA era.
 
This is the Chargers first NCAA tournament berth since the 2019-20 campaign and the fourth overall NCAA postseason appearance in program history.
