Track & Field Set to Compete at 2025 GSC Outdoor Championships

HUNTSVILLE | The UAH men's and women's track & field teams are set to compete at the 2025 Gulf South Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships from Thursday to Saturday on the campus of Lee University.

UAH enters the league's outdoor meet ranked first in the South Region on the men's side and second on the women's as the Chargers wrapped up the regular season at the Georgia Tech Invitational on April 19.
 
The Chargers men's team is highlighted by three athletes ranked in the top 25 nationally, including Sam Wilhelm in both 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters, Eon Morris in the 400 meter hurdles, and Nathan Knox in the 3,000 meter steeplechase.
 
On the women's side, UAH is guided by Aspen Arrowsmith in the javelin throw with a the 17th best throw in NCAA Division II while the Chargers 4x100 meters squad of Deja Hines, Summer Sutherlin, Jadlyn Debardlabon, and Jordyn Dortch rate 21st nationally.
 
Last season, the Chargers finished third place in the GSC Outdoor Championships.
 
The 2025 GSC Outdoor Championships kick off with the decathlon and heptathlon events at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
