The Chargers opened the week with a 2-0 victory over Kentucky Wesleyan, with second-half goals from Sabrina Da Silva and Carley White to win on the road. UAH currently sits at 2-1-1 as they enter conference play.
As a team, UAH has shown strength on both sides of the ball in their first four games, ranking second in saves, third in assists and fourth in goals scored. Sabrina Da Silva and Adriana Rojas lead the offensive charge for UAH this season, contributing two goals each. Goalkeeper Cece Szopa ranks fifth among the conference with seventeen saves with an .850 save percentage.
Currently ranked second in the conference, the Lady Flames enter the matchup with a 2-0-1 overall record, following a 2-2 tie against No. 10 North Georgia. The Lady Flames are led offensively by top goal-scorer Alayia Nye who leads the GSC in goals scored and holds a .750 shots on goal average. UAH holds an all-time record of 1-9-2 against Lee.
Following Friday's match, the Chargers will travel to Nashville to take on GSC foe Trevecca Nazarene on Sunday, September 21st.
