Caroline Sanders represented the UAH women's track & field team as the Gulf South Conference Indoor Field Athlete of the Week this week and is the second Charger women's field athelete to earn the award in the 2025-26 season. This is Sander's first time earning a GSC field athlete of the week award.
A native of Scottsboro, Alabama,
Caroline Sanders placed first in the long jump with an NCAA provisional mark of 5.73 meters at the Samford Invitational.
Sanders, along with the rest of the Chargers, continue the indoor schedule this weekend as they will compete at the Crossroads of America Invitational in Indianapolis, Indiana on Friday and Saturday.
