HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The UAH men's lacrosse team opens its 2026 season on Sunday, February 1, at Charger Park against Lees-McRae College at Noon. With Jordan Warren in his first season as head coach, the Chargers aim to build on returning talent and integrate key newcomers.

Admission to all regular season events at Charger Park is free again this season, courtesy of Alabama Credit Union.
Offensively, the Chargers return key offensive pieces in Nate Burt and Colin Kelly. Burt appeared in 16 games in 2025, recording eight goals and 28 ground balls. Kelly played in all 13 games of the 2025 season, tallying three goals and one assist. Newcomers Aydan Weiszhar and Harrison Skinner will bring skill and playmaking ability to the offensive unit, while midfielder/faceoff specialist Jake Bertils adds depth on both ends and in the draw circle.
On the defensive end, UAH returns experienced defenders Griffin Utz and Matteo Siciliano to anchor the backline. Utz played 14 games with two assists, 11 ground balls, and nine caused turnovers; Siciliano added five ground balls and three caused turnovers in 12 games. In goal, Tommy Peer played 595 minutes across 14 games last season, recording 143 saves with a .495 save percentage.
In the faceoff X, Gerrit Robbins provides a strong presence for the Chargers. Last season, Robbins won 21 of 48 faceoffs for a .438 winning percentage, helping UAH gain possession and transition opportunities.
Following the season-opener, the Chargers will travel south to Saint Leo, Florida, to take on Saint Leo on February 6.
