BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference announced their women's lacrosse Player of the Week awards on Tuesday and UAH freshman Olivia Rewers was named the GSC Freshman of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Rewers totaled three points in the Chargers matchup against No. 9 Embry-Riddle this past weekend. The Brentwood, Tennessee, native put up a team-high three goals and two draw controls in the loss against ERAU. She also had four shots on goal and one caused turnover. This is Rewers' second Freshman of the Week award of the season.

The Chargers are back in action on February 13th against Maryville in St. Louis at noon.
