The Chargers enter the matchup riding a split from last week's road trip. UAH fell 17-7 at Maryville University on Feb. 21 but bounced back with a 13-9 victory at Quincy on Feb. 23. Against Quincy, UAH outshot the Hawks 45-24, placed 28 shots on goal, and won the ground ball battle 39-33 while converting 4-of-5 extra-man opportunities.
Key performers last week included Chris Aiello, who led the offense with four goals and three assists; John Alit, who scored three goals with one assist; and Aydan Weiszhar, who tallied five goals. Defensively, Brenden Thomas and Matteo Siciliano anchored the team that forced 46 total turnovers last weekend. In goal, Jake Sander recorded 31 saves.
Following the conclusion of Friday's contest, the Chargers will return to Charger Park to host the University of Indianapolis on Saturday, Mar. 7, with first draw scheduled for 12 p.m.
