GREENSBORO, N.C. | Baseball has earned the American Baseball Coaches Association Team Academic Excellence Award for the first time in program history, the organization announced Wednesday.

The 2025-26 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack, recognizes ABCA member programs at the high school and collegiate levels that recorded a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the academic year.

UAH was among nearly 500 collegiate baseball programs honored this year, including more than 92 NCAA Division II programs and two other members of the Gulf South Conference.

The Chargers had 15 student-athletes earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year, including two who recorded perfect 4.0 GPAs.
