Behind a 3-for-5 and five RBI performance by third baseman Grant DeBruin, UAH responded in game two, claiming the contest by a score of 8-4 over the Railsplitters.

The Chargers crossed the plate first in the second game, scoring three runs off Grant DeBruin's three-run home run in the bottom of the first to give UAH a 3-0 lead. Justin Pearson reached base earlier after being hit by a pitch and was followed by Chandler Bock single before DeBruin crushed his sixth homer of the season over the left field wall.

With runners on first and second base, LMU's Neil Borden connected on a double into left field to score both runners and cut into the UAH lead, 3-2. The Chargers and Railsplitters traded runs over the next three half-innings and UAH led 5-3 through three frames.

LMU again cut its deficit to just one run by scoring a run in the top of the fifth but UAH answered with another run and pushed the lead back to two runs, 6-4.

In the sixth and with bases loaded, Justin Pearson laced a single back up the middle which would score two more runs and give UAH a 8-4 lead. The Chargers then turned in a three-pitch three out seventh inning to conclude the contest.
