About the Chargers

UAH vs RANKED OPPONENTS
No. 2 West Florida will be the first ranked opponent to play at Charger Park this season as UAH is 7-6-1 against ranked opponents at home in the previous three seasons, including a three-game sweep of then-No. 7 West Florida last season.

STREAKING SANDERS
Sophomore Austin Sanders has been coming on strong as of late with a .444 (8-18) batting average over his last five games while leading the team with five RBI and a double and is on a five-game hitting streak going into the weekend. Sanders is also tied for second in the GSC with seven doubles and ranks in the top-10 with 24 hits.

BASES FULL
Despite the limited opportunities that the Chargers have had with the bases load this season, they have done a good job of taking advantage of their chances with a .375 average (12-32) at the plate when the sacs are full. UAH has also done a good job of hitting with runners in scoring position as the Chargers are hitting .290 when runners are on second or third.

About West Florida

The 2nd-ranked West Florida Argonauts visit Charger Park as one of the best teams in the nation with a 16-2 record overall and have yet to lose in conference while at 11-0 in the GSC. UWF is currently on a 12-game winning streak with the two losses coming in a 10-4 setback to Rollins and 2-1 15-inning marathon at Florida Southern earlier this season.

Austin Southhall leads the UWF offense with a .339 batting average at the plate with 14 RBI and three doubles while Jeremy Badjaun is leading the team with 16 RBI, two home runs and a triple.

UWF's hot start can be attributed to the pitching staff as they are holding opponents to a conference-low .212 batting average and second with a 2.24 ERA. Two starting pitchers have a sub 2.00 ERA for the Argos as Jordan DeLorenzo's impressive 0.96 ERA is second in the conference and is 5-0 on the season.

Series History

The Chargers own a 35-27 record in the all-time series with the Argos and have won five of the past eight contests overall.
