REGULAR SEASON OVER: UAH ends the 2015 regular season slate with a 19-14 overall record and a 10-10 mark in GSC matches, good for fifth overall in the conference. The Blue and White most recently took a two-match road trip that included losses to Valdosta State and GSC Regular Season Champion West Florida.

SUPER TUESDAY: The Chargers and Hawks matchup on Tuesday will be one of two contests to start the conference tournament, with sixth-seeded West Alabama and third-seeded Valdosta State set to begin at 6 p.m. on Super Tuesday in Valdosta, Georgia. The winner of UAH/SU will go on to play West Florida in the semifinals at 1:30 p.m. in Pensacola, Florida.

SENIOR HONORED:
Haley Snyder was named First Team All-GSC on Monday morning – her first career conference honor – after contributing a .282 hitting percentage, 205 kills and 99 total blocks in her senior campaign. A one-time GSC Offensive Player of the Week honoree, Snyder accrued nine matches with hitting percentages of .400 or higher, while ranking third overall in the league with .88 blocks per set.
CONSISTENT HELPER: Sophomore
Kirsten Giles leads the UAH offense in 2015 with 8.91 assists per set and 1007 total helpers, which ranks fifth overall in the GSC for both statistical categories. A Hazel Green, Alabama, native, Giles has also seen a bevy of success on defense with 3.07 digs per set, totaling 19 double-doubles with assists and digs this season.

HAWKS PROFILE: Shorter finished the regular season campaign with a 16-10 overall record and a record of 14-6 in the GSC, ending with a fourth-place standing within the league. The Hawks are led by First Team All-GSC honoree Elizabeth Dowd, who paced the squad with 275 kills. Defensively, Cheyenne McLemore led the team with 425 digs during the regular season.
