RECENT ACTION: The Chargers lost a three-game GSC series for the first time this season this past weekend against West Florida, after taking the opener 4-2 and falling in the final two games of the series by scores of 4-3 and 13-6. UAH is now second in the league standings with a 9-3 conference mark and a 17-7 overall record.
 
LEADING OFFENSE: So far in 2016, UAH leads the GSC and is 10th in the nation with a collective .347 batting average with the squad recording 10 hits or more on 15 occasions this season. A total of nine regulars are batting above .300, led by Matt Spruill at .410 which ranks eighth in the GSC.
 
TAKING CHARGE: Senior Wilson Adams has become the ace of the UAH pitching staff this season, taking the hill in each of the Chargers series openers this season. Adams leads the Blue & White starters with a 1.79 ERA and 42 strikeouts, while ranking third in the GSC in ERA and second in strikeouts.
 
MAINTAINING STRENGTH: AJ Walden batted .462 for the week and .500 in the three-game GSC series against West Florida, giving the sophomore a .405 average for the season to rank second on the roster. The Albertville, Alabama, native currently leads UAH with seven homers, 26 RBI, and a .759 slugging percentage, rating in the top 10 in the GSC for each statistical category.
 
TROJANS PROFILE: Trevecca Nazarene enters the week with a 7-8 overall record, after winning one-of-three games against Bellarmine in Nashville this past weekend. TNU's offense bats a collective .275 with Micah Blount leading the offense with a .417 batting average and 12 RBI. The Trojans pitching staff holds a 5.44 ERA and a .311 batting average against.
 
STATESMEN PROFILE: Delta State begins this week's slate with a 13-9 record and a 7-5 mark in league play, following a series loss at West Georgia over the weekend. The DSU offense is paced by Will Robertson (.429-23 RBI) and Trent Giambrone (.420-6 HR), while the pitching staff holds a 4.45 ERA led by Tre Hobbs at 2.21 over 40.2 innings pitched.
