AJ Walden has been the Chargers offensive leader in the 2016 campaign, as the Albertville, Alabama, native paces the team in homers (8), RBI (29), total bases (69), and slugging percentage (.742). Walden is in the top five in the GSC in homers and RBI, while rating 19th nationally in round-trippers.

ON THE HILL: Sixth-year head coach
Hunter Royer has gone with the trio of
Wilson Adams,
Will Myers and
Heath McRae as his weekend staff for the majority of the season, with Adams pacing the rotation with a 2.58 ERA over 45.1 innings and 44 strikeouts. Adams ranks fourth in the conference in ERA and fifth in strikeouts.
