RECENT ACTION: UAH has won five of its past six games in conference play, after notching two wins in the three-game set at Union this past weekend. The Chargers are now 30-16 overall and 20-10 in GSC games, good for fourth place in the league standings.

GSC UPDATE: None of the six seeds for the 2016 GSC tournament have been decided heading into the final weekend of league play, as West Florida (23-7 GSC) sits in the top spot followed by Delta State (21-9 GSC) and West Alabama (21-9 GSC) in a tie for second place. Lee (18-10 GSC) and West Georgia (19-11 GSC) follow UAH in fifth and sixth, respectively, in the standings.

REGIONAL RANKINGS: The NCAA South Regional rankings were released earlier this week, and UAH sits at ninth in the vote with a 30-16 record within the region. Tampa came in at No. 1 in the initial ratings, followed by Nova Southeastern in second, West Florida in third and West Alabama in fourth to round out the top four in the region. A total of seven teams will comprise the NCAA South Regional this season, with automatic bids given to the top teams from the GSC, SIAC and SSC.

LEAGUE'S ACE: UAH right-hander
Wilson Adams has become one of the most dominant pitchers in the GSC in his season campaign, owning a conference-leading 2.05 ERA, 83.1 innings pitched and 90 strikeouts. Adams is also in the top 35 in NCAA Division II in ERA, innings, and strikeouts.

RAKING IN GSC PLAY: Redshirt sophomore
AJ Walden has enjoyed a successful campaign in GSC games, as he's led the league with a .434 batting average in 29 league contests and ranks in the top 10 in the conference slate in homers (9), RBI (31), total bases (78), slugging percentage (.788) and on-base percentage (.496).

WEEKLY HONOREE:
Will Myers was named GSC Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday, following a spectacular start in the 2-0 win in the nightcap of the doubleheader last weekend at Union. Myers worked 7.0 shutout innings with 13 strikeouts and zero walks, which gives the southpaw 14.0 innings to go with 24 strikeouts, one walk and one earned run over his past two starts.

TIGERS PROFILE: West Alabama enters the final weekend of the regular season with a 33-12 overall record and a 21-9 mark in GSC play, after most recently earning a pair of victories in a three-game series against West Georgia last weekend. The Tigers offense is led by Mitch Holgate with a .375 average, 11 homers and 38 RBI, while the starting staff is paced by Evan Anderson's 2.27 ERA over 67.1 innings pitched.
