RECENT ACTION: UAH is coming off its second consecutive series sweep of North Alabama this past weekend, winning by scores of 12-1, 8-6 and 6-0 over the Lions. The Blue and White are now 22-13 overall and 14-7 in GSC play, which is good for fifth in the league standings.

TIME CHANGES: The Chargers have announced start time changes for both midweek home games, as first pitch for Montevallo will be at noon while the Miles game will start at 1 p.m. Both games were originally slated for 5 p.m. at Charger Park.

LEADING THE STAFF: Wilson Adams' 7.0-inning, 10-strikeout performance in the series-opening victory over UNA garnered him his first-ever GSC Pitcher of the Week honor, and the right-hander has now struck out 21 batters over his last 15.0 innings with just two runs allowed. Overall this season, Adams leads the starting staff and ranks in the top five in the GSC in innings pitched (60.1), strikeouts (65) and ERA (2.24).

HOT IN THE SWEEP: Austin Sanders had his strongest weekend of play in the 2016 season against UNA, totaling a .750 (9-for-12) batting average in the series sweep while adding a team-high three doubles, two home runs and seven runs scored. This season, Sanders has played in all 35 of the Chargers games with a .354 batting average, a GSC-leading 41 runs scored, a team-high 13 doubles and 22 RBI.

FALCONS PROFILE: Montevallo enters the week with a 20-18 overall record and a 12-9 Peach Belt Conference record, after most recently taking a three game series against Armstrong State this past weekend. UM bats a collective .308 led by Taylor Walker with a .430 average, 13 homers and 45 RBI, while the pitching staff has a 4.60 ERA. UAH is 32-26 all-time against Montevallo.

GOLDEN BEARS PROFILE: Miles begins this week's slate 22-11 overall and 9-3 in SIAC play, following a doubleheader sweep of Concordia Alabama last weekend. The Golden Bears offense is paced by Keland Smith with a .435 average and 23 RBI, while the pitching staff owns a 5.32 ERA. The Chargers hold an all-time record of 15-0 against MC.

BLAZERS PROFILE: Valdosta State is fourth in the league standings heading into the weekend with a 13-6 league record and a 22-11 overall mark, with its most recent GSC series ending in a series sweep at Mississippi College.
