RECENT ACTION: The Chargers travelled to Nashville for the Trevecca Nazarene hosted Scott Jones Classic this past Friday, coming away with wins over TNU and Walsh and a loss to Missouri St. Louis. UAH improves to 5-1 on the new season, and the program now holds a 14-5 record in nonconference matches since the start of the 2015 season.

LAST YEAR IN THE GSC: UAH ended the 2015 conference slate with a 10-10 record, which was good for the fifth-seed in the GSC tournament. The Chargers were voted to finish fifth again in the preseason coaches' poll.

PACING THE ATTACK: Anna Claire Johnson has enjoyed consecutive weeks of success in the Chargers six matches, leading the offense with 75 kills and a 3.57 kills per set average to go along with a .267 hitting percentage. Heading into GSC play, Johnson rates in the top 10 in the GSC in kills per set.

WOLVES PROFILE: West Georgia opens the week's schedule with a 3-4 overall record, after most recently suffering two wins and a loss at the Bellarmine Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky this past weekend. Katie Hanson and McKEnna Wharton pace the Wolves attack with 53 kills apiece, while Devon Dickey's 72 digs leads the squad's defense.

FLAMES PROFILE: Lee enters this week with a 2-2 overall record, following wins over Florida Tech and Bridgeport and two losses to No. 3 Palm Beach Atlantic and Embry-Riddle at the Hyatt Place Bash at the Beach in West Palm Beach, Florida last weekend. Offensively, Silvia Sartori has a team-best 45 kills, with Makayla Beebe owning a roster-high 63 digs.

The Hawks offense is led by Elizabeth Dowd's 59 kills, while Tiffani Estep and Hannah Flack are tied for the team lead on defense with 18.0 total blocks.
