ROAD SWING FINALE: The UAH men's basketball team will wrap up its current three-game road trip on Tuesday at 7 p.m., stepping back out of conference play for the return trip to Trevecca Nazarene who the team met in Huntsville earlier this year. The Chargers go into the game at 5-3 on the year.

RECAPPING LAST WEEK: The Chargers fell in its first two GSC games of the year, dropping an 80-56 decision at Montevallo before falling 82-66 at West Alabama.

EARNING A START: Redshirt freshman Seth Swalve has had a strong start to his UAH career, and he was rewarded for that on Sunday at UWA when he registered his first start of the season. Through the team's first eight games, Swalve is scoring 8.5 points per contest while shooting 55.3 percent and averaging 21.5 minutes.

SHARP SHOOTING: Sam Orf – a true freshman – is also off to a strong start, especially when it comes to his shooting percentages as he has gone 21-for-36 overall for a 58.3 percent success rate, and he is 9-for-17 from beyond the arc to hit 3s at a 52.9 percent clip. Both of those numbers lead the Chargers.

CLEANING THE GLASS: UAH has outrebounded its opponent in four straight games in and in five of the team's eight contests overall. Individually, the Chargers are led by seniors Justin Ward and Kip Owens who are snagging 6.3 and 6.0 rebounds per game, respectively.

ABOUT TREVECCA NAZARENE: The Trojans head into Tuesday night's game in Nashville with a 1-7 record on the year, and TNU has dropped two straight after picking up its first year of the win on Nov. 25 against McKendree. With 20.7 points per game, Devin Whitfield leads the Trojans offensively, and he also has collected a team-best 7.5 rebounds per contest.

SERIES HISTORY: The series is now tied at 9-9 after UAH was an 88-70 winner in the Rocket City on Nov. 16 in UAH's home opener. Ward was one of four Chargers who scored in double figures that night, leading the way with 24 on the strength of five 3-pointers, and he also grabbed 10 rebounds to record a double-double.
