RECENT ACTION: After falling in both games of the doubleheader at Lee to open Gulf South Conference play last Saturday, UAH was able to pick up its first league win on Sunday with a 10-9 win over the Flames. The Chargers now enter the week with a 3-7 overall record and a 1-2 mark in the GSC.

FINDING A GROOVE: A 2016 NCBWA and D2SIDA All-South Region performer, AJ Walden busted out of a slow start to the 2017 campaign going a combined 5-for-9 at the plate with one run and one RBI in the final two games of the Lee series. Walden enters the week with 25 career homers in the Blue & White.

PACING THE OFFENSE: Ben Rhodes continues to lead the Chargers at the plate with a .364 average and a team-high 12 hits, while boasting three doubles, one triple, one homer, seven RBI and seven runs scored. Justin Ware has enjoyed success with extra-base hits as he paces the squad with five doubles in 2017 after most recently posting a season-high two doubles in the series finale at Lee.

ON THE HILL: Riley Camp leads the rotation entering the weekend with a 1.72 ERA over 15.2 innings pitched in three starts while accruing 11 strikeouts compared to three walks. Most recently, Camp worked 4.0 innings with zero earned runs allowed and one walk on Sunday against Lee.

LOOKING AHEAD: After this week's five-game slate, the Chargers have the next eight contests on the road with trips scheduled for Auburn Montgomery (March 1), Christian Brothers (March 4-5), Montevallo (March 8) and West Florida (March 11-12) over the next few weeks.

MILES PROFILE: Miles begins the week with a 6-3 overall record after most recently splitting a doubleheader at home on Saturday at home against Tougaloo College. The Golden Bears offense is led by Travor Bated with a .360 batting average and seven RBI, while the pitching staff owns a 5.29 collective ERA.

MATCHUP HISTORY: UAH holds an all-time series record of 16-0 against Miles, after winning both matchups during the 2016 campaign by scores of 7-3 at Rickwood Field on Feb. 25 and of 15-5 at Charger Park on April 7.

WOLVES PROFILE: West Georgia enters the week's schedule with a 5-5 overall record following a trio of losses at home to North Alabama on Sunday and Monday. The Wolves bats are paced by Ben Utley with a .390 batting average and nine RBI, while Greyson McLeod leads the rotation with a 3.31 ERA over 16.1 innings pitched.

MATCHUP HISTORY: The Chargers own an all-time record of 45-29 against the Wolves, with UAH taking the most recent GSC series over West Georgia last spring on Feb. 27-28 with wins in the series opener and the finale.
