RECENT ACTION: The Chargers picked up their first win of the 2018 season in the nightcap of this past Friday's nonconference doubleheader against Kentucky Wesleyan, as UAH won game two 10-3 before being edged by the Panthers 4-3 in the opening contest.

EARLY ACCOLADES: UAH garnered a pair of weekly awards following the series split against KWC, as senior
AJ Walden was named GSC Player of the Week and
Brooks Brophy earned GSC Freshman of the Week. Walden led UAH at the plate going 5-for-9 with one double, one homer and seven RBI, while Brophy worked 2.2 scoreless innings of relief to give him a total of 6.2 shutout innings to start his collegiate career.

JUNIOR RISING: Nolan Ramsey is off to a hot start to his junior campaign with a .429 batting average over four games with one double, one triple and three RBI. Ramsey ended his 2017 campaign on a high-note, posting a career-high six RBI in a GSC tournament matchup against Valdosta State (May 7).

LIMITING FREE PASSES: UAH boasts a league-low eight walks heading into Friday's doubleheader, as no Chargers has allowed more than two walks in a total of 34.0 combined innings this season.
