WEEK AHEAD: The Chargers (10-8, 5-4 GSC) open the week with a trip to Tuskegee (4-12) for a nonconference matchup on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Patterson Field in Montgomery prior to the squad returning home on Saturday and Sunday for a three-game Gulf South Conference series against Christian Brothers (5-15, 1-8 GSC).

RECENT ACTION: UAH is coming off a series loss this past weekend at Valdosta State, as the Blazers took both games of a doubleheader on Saturday before UAH won the series finale on Sunday by a score of 7-5. The Chargers are now 10-8 overall and 5-4 in the GSC, which has the squad tied for fifth with two other teams in the league standings.

STREAKING: Ben Rhodes begins the week on a 12-game hit streak, dating back to the start of GSC play at Auburn Montgomery on Feb. 23 which has raised his season batting average to second on the roster at .415. Since Feb. 23, Rhodes has led the roster with a .535 batting average (23-for-43) and 13 runs scored, while totaling five doubles, one triple, two homers and six RBI.

Dylan Murphy has provided the Chargers stellar relief in the backend of the bullpen, as he leads the GSC with five saves while boasting a 0.75 ERA over 12.0 innings pitched. Additionally, Murphy has 17 strikeouts compared to just four walks this season and has held opponents to a .171 batting average against.

APPROACHING HISTORY: With two home runs during the GSC series at VSU this past weekend,
AJ Walden boasts a team-high five home runs this season which gives the senior 42 career round-trippers. His 42 career home runs are third in program history, as he's one shy of being tied for second in program history with Kyle Nichols (1998-99) and four away from reaching the program record of 46 home runs by Blake Bone (1998-2000).

TIGERS PROFILE: Tuskegee enters the midweek contest with a 4-12 overall record, after most recently falling at Montevallo last Wednesday by a score of 7-1. Ryan Green leads the Tigers offense with a .303 batting average, while the Tuskegee pitching staff owns an 8.06 team ERA.
