RECENT ACTION: The Chargers dipped to 21-19 overall and 10-13 in the conference slate after a pair of losses at Charger Park on Friday to Mississippi College in a rain-shortened weekend.

AROUND THE LEAGUE: At the outset of the weekend, UAH sits at ninth in the conference standings with a 10-13 record while Delta State (18-4 GSC) leads the way for the GSC. Following Delta State in the top eight in the conference includes North Alabama (17-6), West Florida (17-6), Montevallo (16-7), Mississippi College (15-7), Lee (14-9), West Alabama (11-12) and West Georgia (11-13).

POWER SURGE: UAH boasts a .483 team slugging percentage to start out the week which ranks second overall in the GSC, thanks to a league-best 87 doubles and 18 triples to go along with a fifth-rated 29 team home runs. Individually, UAH is led by
AJ Walden with a .719 slugging percentage with 14 doubles and a team-best 10 home runs, while
Nolan Ramsey boasts a program record and league-leading seven triples to help him to a .625 slugging percentage.

NEWCOMERS PRODUCING: Four of head coach
Hunter Royer's freshman have been heavy contributors in the 2018 campaign on both sides of the ball, including
Will Acuff (.333, 10 doubles),
Tyler McCown (.270, nine doubles),
Brooks Brophy (2.89 ERA, 28.0 IP), and
Dylan Murphy (2.33 ERA, six saves, 27.0 IP).

BULLDOGS PROFILE: Union starts out the week's slate with a 12-27 overall record and a 6-16 record in GSC play, following a loss to West Alabama on Sunday. The Bulldogs offense is led by a trio of players with .300-plus batting averages including Chase Diggs (.351, 37 runs), Nolen Milton (.316, 26 RBI) and Davis Robbins (.307, 28 RBI), while UU has a team ERA of 6.72.
