UPCOMING WEEK: UAH has four games on deck this week to wrap up the 2018 regular season, as the Chargers travel to Trevecca Nazarene for the nonconference final before hosting North Alabama to cap off the week on Saturday and Sunday at Charger Park.

RECENT ACTION: The Chargers travelled to Jackson, Tennessee, for a three-game set at Union, with the Blue & White taking the opener on Friday 6-2 before dropping both games of the doubleheader on Saturday by scores of 13-5 and 5-2. UAH is now 22-21 overall and 11-15 in conference play, good for ninth in the GSC.

POSTSEASON IMPLICATIONS: UAH's final three games of the conference slate will go a long way in deciding the team's fate for the postseason, as the Chargers sit on the outside of the top eight in the conference with an 11-15 league record for ninth in the conference. Delta State – who has locked up the first seed in the GSC tournament on May 5-8 – boasts a league-leading 21-4 GSC record, followed by Montevallo (18-8), West Florida (18-8), Misssissippi College (17-8), North Alabama (18-9), Lee (14-12), West Georgia (14-13) and West Alabama (12-14) in the top eight in the conference.

CONTRIBUTIONS ALL AROUND: A total of 21 Chargers have seen action at the plate for head coach Hunter Royer, with 11 of those 21 players boasting 10 or more RBI while eight players with 30 at-bats or more are hitting above .300. UAH ranks in the top six in the GSC in both batting average and RBI thanks to those contributions.

SENSATIONAL SENIOR: A native of Albertville, Alabama, AJ Walden has enjoyed a stellar season at the plate in his senior campaign, as he leads the Chargers in runs (39), doubles (15), homers (12), RBI (44), total bases (115), and slugging percentage (.728). Within the GSC, Walden ranks in the top five in batting average (.380), doubles (15), homers (12), and slugging percentage (.728).

FARWELL: The Chargers will have 11 seniors play in their final regular season contests this weekend at Charger Park, including Brady Bedingfield, Jake Bracewell, Tanner Burns, Riley Camp, Lance Cleveland, Jay Copeland, Hunter Hood, Ben Rhodes, Chad Robinson, and Walden.

TROJANS PROFILE: Trevecca Nazarene enters the midweek contest with a 20-21 overall record and a 10-9 record in the G-MAC, after most recently sweeping Cedarville at home over the weekend. TNU's offense is led by Ethan Harrison with a .338 batting average and 35 runs scored, while the Trojans have a 6.51 team ERA.

SERIES HISTORY: UAH is 7-3 all-time against Trevecca Nazarene.

LIONS PROFILE: North Alabama begins the week's slate with a 30-15 overall record and an 18-9 mark in conference play, following a trio of losses to Delta State at home this past Friday and Saturday. The Lions offense is paced by Kyle Hubbuch with team-highs in batting average (.358), homers (12) and RBI (53), while Tyler Joyner (88.2 IP, 2.64 ERA) and Shane Priest (73.1 IP, 3.19 ERA) anchor the weekend rotation.

SERIES HISTORY: UAH enters the final Division II matchup against UNA – who departs for their first season in Division I next season – with an all-time series record of 39-27.
