HUNTSVILLE | The Gulf South Conference announced its 2019 Men's Soccer All-GSC Teams on Tuesday, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville was represented by a pair of First Team selections in Rafa Moreno and Ethan Wilson.
 
Moreno lands on the First Team for a second consecutive season, while Wilson was a Second Team a year ago.
 
UAH is one of just two teams to have multiple selections to the First Team, and the Chargers have had at least one All-GSC honoree for 11 straight years.
 
Moreno has turned in another strong offensive season, scoring nine times while also adding an assist to total 19 points, and three of his goals have been game-winners. The nine goals rank in a tie for second in the GSC, and the junior is tied for the league lead with the three that secured victories for the Chargers. 
 
Wilson has been a force for UAH's defensive efforts, helping the Chargers post three clean sheets on the year, and his work has aided UAH in allowing just one goal in six other contests. The junior captain has started all 17 contests for UAH, and he has yet to come off the field, playing a team-best 1,621 minutes.
 
Moreno and Wilson will aim to help their team advance in the postseason on Tuesday as the squad opens up play at the 2019 GSC Men's Soccer Championship with a quarterfinal match at Auburn Montgomery. Kick-off is set for 3 p.m.
