ATLANTA | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's and women's track & field teams wrapped up competition at the Georgia Tech Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
 
Notables
-Jay Day broke the program record in the 5000 meter with a fourth-place time of 14:27.89.
-Ryan Collins finished first overall in the pole vault at 4.70 meters.
-Miguel Cortes garnered second in the javelin with a toss of 54.00 meters.
-Zach Hancock won the shot put at 17.48 meters while also placing second in the discus at 55.41 meters.
-Wilson McClain finished atop the field in 110 meter hurdles with a first-place time of 14.07.
-Jacob Bishop clocked in at 9:14.94 in the 3000 meter steeplechase for first in the event.
-Emee Baldwin led the Chargers in the pole vault with a fourth-place height of 3.40 meters.
