Box Score PENSACOLA, Fla. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team was eliminated from the 2021 NCAA Division II South Regional with a 10-4 loss to second-seeded Lee on Saturday afternoon at Jim Spooner Field. UAH ends its season at 23-20, while LU improves to 36-10.

This was UAH's seventh appearance in an NCAA regional tournament and the third under head coach
Hunter Royer.

Parker Warren started on the mound for the Chargers, as the right-hander tossed 4.2 innings with five runs allowed and three strikeouts. The loss drops Warren's season record to 2-2 on the year.

The UAH offense was paced by
John Trousdale and
Colin Brewer with one base hit and two RBI apiece.
Will Acuff registered a team-high two base hits.

Lee went on the board first in the elimination matchup with a three-run rally in the top of the first for an early 3-0 lead.

UAH pulled ahead in the bottom of the second with a four-run rally to lead 4-3, which featured two-RBI singles to left by both Trousdale and Brewer.

The Flames tied the contest at 4-4 with a sac fly in the fourth, followed by a solo home run in the fifth by Colton Yeager to give LU the 5-4 advantage.

Lee went on to score two runs apiece in the seventh and eighth innings in addition to one run in the ninth to bring the game to its 10-4 final score.
