We are off to the start of what I hope will be a great school year! While some things look eerily similar to this time last year, there are other things which seem to be back to normal. We are excited to have our fall seasons and our athletic teams have full schedules.
Last year was something that I will never forget. Sure, there are things we hope to block from our memory. However, the things that I want to remember include our work ethic, flexibility, success in the classroom, championships and team successes, and, for me, working with the best student athletes in the country.
We are looking forward to hosting some home events in September and cannot wait to have you back in the stands at full capacity. We will have updates concerning COVID-19 on our website, but we are trying to make things as normal as we can while maintaining high standards of safety.
I know that I am so fortunate to get to do what I do each day and our staff and student athletes make this a great place to work. We want to work hard to “Make it Matter” in everything we do including in the classroom, in competition, and in life.
I hope you get a chance to come and support Huntsville’s Team as we work to make this the best year ever!
