Box Score YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team fell to Young Harris by a final score of 12-5 on Tuesday afternoon on the road. UAH slips to 6-9, while YHC improves to 10-5.

Landon Ezzell led the Chargers offense overall in the contest, going 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and one run scored. His homer was his first of the season and 12th overall by a UAH batter.

Jackson Lindsey and
Daniel McCary each notched two hits and a run scored in the game, with McCary also adding a double and one RBI.

UAH utilized eight different pitchers in the contest, as
Aubry Cleghorn started on the mound for the Blue & white with one earned run allowed in his inning of work. Cleghorn took the loss to drop to 1-1 this season.

Austin East each had a scoreless outing out of the bullpen.

Young Harris started off the game with three runs in the bottom of the first to take the first lead, which UAH cut into in the top of the first as McCary scored on a groundout.

The Mountain Lions regained a three-run advantage with one run in the second, before putting up eight runs in the fourth to own a 12-1 lead.

UAH scored once in the sixth and three times in the third – thanks to Ezzell's three-run home run – to bring the game to its 12-5 final score.

The Chargers look ahead to a Gulf South Conference series against Delta State this Saturday and Sunday at Charger Park. Saturday's doubleheader starts at 1 p.m., with the single game Sunday also beginning at 1 p.m.
