Box Score MEMPHIS, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team opened up its four-game road swing with a 14-3 victory in seven innings at Christian Brothers in nonconference action on Wednesday. UAH improves to 16-19, while CBU dips to 10-22.

UAH has now won four straight games, as the squad returns to Gulf South Conference play with a three-game series at West Florida on Saturday and Sunday.

The Chargers offense banged out 14 base hits in the victory over the Buccaneers, led by
Landon Ezzell and
Jeff Hunter who both had three base hits and four RBI.

Hunter boasted a team-high three extra-base hits with one double and two home runs, while Ezzell notched two extra-base knocks with one double and one home run.

Garrett Bodine went 2-for-4 out of the lead-off spot with two runs and two walks, with
Mitchell Rottier also putting up two hits and two walks to go along with three RBI batting behind Bodine.

Trey Wright started on the mound for the Chargers, turning in 2.0 innings with two runs allowed and two strikeouts for the no-decision.

Tanner Giles and
Brooks Tolbert each worked 2.0 scoreless innings out of the bullpen, with Giles picking up the win to improve to 1-1 this season.

Christian Brothers took the first lead of the afternoon with two runs in the bottom of the first, before UAH turned the tables with a four-run third on two, two-run homers by Ezzell and Hunter for a 4-2 lead.

The Bucs would cut the lead to 4-3 with one run in the third, prior to UAH scoring once in the fourth, four times in the fifth and five times in the sixth on the way to the 14-3 win on Wednesday in seven innings.
