BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference announced its weekly men's soccer award winners, and UAH was represented by Oli Orzechowski as GSC Offensive Player of the Week.
 
This is Orzechowski's first career weekly award from the GSC, as he becomes UAH's first GSC Offensive Player of the Week since Andrea Tsimon in October of 2022.
 
Orzechowski guided the Chargers offense over two road matches this past weekend with three total goals, including both in the 2-1 victory at Delta State on Sunday.
 
The sophomore leads UAH this season with seven goals, which rank third in the conference. He also rates third in the GSC with five of his seven goals coming in league play.
 
Orzechowski and the rest of the Chargers look ahead to the final regular season road game on Friday at West Alabama at 7:30 p.m.
