The Chargers are coming off a 2023 campaign that ended in a pair of games at the Gulf South Conference Baseball Championship after earning the No. 3 seed for the tournament.

UAH was recently voted fifth in the GSC Preseason Coaches' poll ahead of head coach Hunter Royer's 15th season at the helm as the Chargers return Preseason NCBWA All-American and All-GSC honoree Will Hotalen on the mound.

The UAH offense returns five players from their regular starting lineup last season, including Hunter Tillman, Carson Villalta, Jackson Lindsey, Caleb Mahan, and Will Noles.

Tillman, Lindsey, Villalta, and Mahan each posted batting averages over .300 last season.

On the mound, the Blue & White return their lead relief pitcher in Hotalen from last season, along with Landon Singley, Cole Loftis, Justin Perreault, Trey Wright, and Cory Hagood who each saw more than 20 innings on the mound in 2023.

After this week's games, UAH looks ahead to a mid-week matchup with Miles before heading into GSC play against Mississippi College next weekend.
