BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The UAH men's basketball team continues action in the 2024 Gulf South Conference Men's Basketball Championships with a semifinal matchup on Saturday at 7:15 p.m. as the third seed against second-seeded Lee on the campus of Samford University at the Pete Hanna Center.

UAH comes into the GSC tournament semifinals with a 20-9 overall record after topping sixth-seeded Christian Brothers 81-64 on Tuesday at Spragins Hall in the quarterfinals.

This is the UAH men's basketball program's 23rd all-time appearance in the GSC tournament, with the Chargers appearing in the semifinals six straight season for a total of 15 times in team history.

The Chargers are 31-17 all-time in GSC tournament games, including a 2-0 record against the Flames. The two teams matched up in the league playoffs in the 2021 semifinals.

UAH's offense boasts four players averaging above 10.0 points per game this season, as
Tommy Murr (16.2 PPG) and
Luke Burnett (15.6 PPG) lead the way and rate in the top 20 in the GSC. Overall, UAH averaged 80.5 points per game.

Lee comes into Saturday at 21-7 overall this season, following a 72-60 win over seventh-seeded Mississippi College at home on Saturday. The Flames average 77.3 points per game, led by Beyuan Hendricks at 16.5 points per contest.

The winner of Saturday night's GSC tournament semifinal matchup moves on to play the winner of No. 1 seed West Georgia and No. 4 seed West Alabama on Sunday in the championship game at 3 p.m.
