PITTSBURG, Kan. | The UAH men's track & field team completed the 2024 indoor campaign at the 2024 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday as Michael Gizzi and Sam Wilhelm both represented the Chargers.
 
A native of Covington, Georgia, Gizzi placed 12th in the 200-meter dash prelims at a time of 21.69, as he was the highest-finishing South Region representative in the race.
 
Wilhelm notched 10th overall in the 5000-meter race with a time of 14:09.71 in his first-ever Nationals appearance on Friday.
 
UAH looks ahead to the start of the 2024 outdoor season next Friday and Saturday at the Montevallo Falcon Invitational.
