HUNTSVILLE | The UAH track & field team competed at the Camel City Distance and UAB Indoor Invitational this weekend and brough home two provisional marks, one school record, and 26 new personal bests.

Notable Performances
• Wes Ellison set a personal best and school record in the 800m at 1:51.54 on his way to a NCAA Division II provisional mark.
• Amiah Murry put up a provisional mark in the 200m with a time of 24.45, which also was a personal best. 
• Cannon Peters placed seventh with a personal best in the 800m at the Camel City Distance meet with a time of 1:53.12.
• Hailey Smith placed ninth in the weight throw with a toss of 15.66 meters. The mark is a personal best.
• Catherine Truemper took fourth in the 5000m with a time of 18:35.02 and a personal best.
• Noah Dobbs had a personal best mark in the pole vault and a fifth place finish at 4.35m.

The Chargers next meet will be the Gulf South Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Alabama on February 19th and 20th.
