New Orleans, La. | Track & Field had three student-athletes earn All-America recognition, as the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced its 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field All-America Teams.
Ahmed Ibrahim and Julius Williams III were named First Team All-Americans on the men's side, while Amiah Murry garnered First Team All-America status in the 400 meters and Second Team All-America honors in the 200 meters for the UAH women.
First Team All-America status was awarded to finishers first through eighth in individual events and relays at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, while Second Team All-America honors went to finishers ninth through 16th in individual events and ninth through 12th in relays.
Murry highlighted the Chargers' national championship showing with a runner-up finish in the women's 400 meters, crossing the line in 52.85 seconds to earn First Team All-America honors. She finished just 0.60 seconds behind national champion Melanie Roland of Northwest Missouri, who won the event in 52.25.
Murry also added Second Team All-America recognition in the women's 200 meters after finishing ninth in the preliminaries with a time of 23.57.
On the men's side, Ibrahim earned First Team All-America status in the 5000 meters after placing seventh nationally with a time of 14:12.16. Williams III joined him as a First Team All-American in the triple jump, finishing eighth overall with a mark of 15.41 meters.
The Chargers totaled three First Team All-America performances and one Second Team honor at the 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
