HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The UAH men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Rocket City Invitational this weekend, highlighted by a number of strong performances including multiple nationally-ranked marks.
Women's Notable Performances
•
Aniya Johnson won the women's 400m with a time of 54.59, an NCAA provisional mark (#25 nationally), and also cleared 1.65m in the high jump for second place.
• Johnson also participated in the women's 4x400m relay team alongside
Deja Hines,
Amiah Murry, and
Summer Sutherlin as they took first place finish in 3:42.50, currently ranked ninth in all of Division II.

Cooper Garrett took first in the javelin throw with a NCAA provisional mark of 46.14m.Â
•
Jadlyn Debardlabon won the long jump with a leap of 5.87m.
•
A'cynthia Brown had a toss of 13.96m in the shot put to post a provisional mark in the event.Â
Men's Notable Performances
•
Wes Egalite tallied a provisional mark in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.30.
• The 4x400m relay team of
Jaiden Young,
Tommy Rodriguez,
Julius Williams, and
Braedon Goode posted a provisional mark of 3:12.52.
• Rodriguez additionally posted a provisional mark in the 400m with a time of 52.25.
• Ahmed Ibrahim won the 1500m in 3:46.08, the 26th best time nationally and a NCAA provisional mark.
Cole Robinson posted a provisional in the 3000m steeple at 9:08.95.

Will Griffin and Kodie Bogle swept the top two spots in the javelin at 60.76m (D-II #45) and 60.29m (D-II #50), both being provisional marks.
