Box Score FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. | The No. 6 UAH men's basketball team defeated Barry 100-97 in overtime their second game of the season and second game in two days in the Sunshine State Conference/Gulf South Conference Crossover on the campus of Nova Southeastern on Saturday night. 

The Chargers improved to 1-1 with the victory, while the Bucs fell to 0-2 in the early season.

UAH led by three at the half 46-43 with a 14-for-17 mark at the free throw line. Barry remained in the contest shooting over 50 percent from the field in the first half at 16-for-31. 

The Chargers and Bucs exchanged blows in the second-half ultimately ending with a Thomas Allard putback that sent the game into overtime with 1 second remaining. 

The Blue & White were led by Allard who notched his first double-double of the year and totaled 31 points in the game along with 12 rebounds. Quentin Toles added 30 points for the Chargers as he shot 8-for-15 and 3-for-6 from three. 

Griffin Cooper added a block, while Toles totaled three steals to lead the Chargers defensively. The Chargers outpaced the Bucs 47-to-30 in rebounds to power them to the victory.

UAH returns home for the Alabama Credit Union Classic presented by Power Brands Hospitality Group next weekend as they will take on Bluefield on Saturday and USC Beaufort on Sunday.
