BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference announced their men's basketball players of the week on Tuesday and UAH basketball guard Quentin Toles was named GSC Player of the Week.

Toles put up 23 points and 30 points in a pair of games this past weekend against No. 1 Nova Southeastern and Barry as the Chargers went 1-1. In the two matchups, he visited the free throw line a total of 19 times as he went 15-for-19 from the charity stripe. 

Through two games this season, he currently ranks as the 11th highest scorer in points per game in all of NCAA Division II at 26.5 points per game. This is Toles's first GSC Player of the Week honor.

The Chargers host their first home games of the season this weekend at the Alabama Credit Union Classic presented by Power Brands Hospitality Group.
