HUNTSVILLE | The No. 6 UAH men's basketball team will host a pair of non-conference opponents at the Alabama Credit Union Classic presented by Power Brands Hospitality over the weekend, beginning with a matchup against Bluefield on Saturday at 4 p.m. in SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall, followed by a Sunday matchup with USC Beaufort at 3 p.m.

The Chargers enter the weekend at 1-1 overall and are coming off of a 100-97 overtime victory against Barry.

Quentin Toles has highlighted the UAH offense in the first two games and earned Gulf South Conference Player of the Week honors after averaging 26.5 points per game. Thomas Allard was not far behind as he posted the highest point total of the weekend at 31 points as he averaged 20.5 points in two games.

The Blue and White rank second in the GSC in rebounds per game at 44 rebounds per game and top of the league in defensive rebounding with 25 per game and the top rebounding margin in the league. 

Bluefield enters the weekend at 1-4 overall and is averaging 78.6 points per game. DJ McDonald leads the Rams with 15.4 points per game. 

USC Beaufort is visiting Huntsville having averaged 100.3 points per game as Ismael Rashid and Dominic Eason each average over 16 points per game. 

Following the Alabama Credit Union Classic, UAH will host Point on Tuesday evening in Spragins Hall.
