UAH Announces 2026 Hall of Fame Class

The University of Alabama in Huntsville Department of Athletics is excited to unveil the 2026 Class of the UAH Athletics Hall of Fame, announcing six members that will be enshrined for their extraordinary accomplishments and contributions as a Charger. 

Former student-athletes become eligible for induction consideration 10 full years after their last season of collegiate competition and should have earned All-America, all-region, or all-conference honors, and additionally potential nominees should be of good character and reputation while exhibiting community involvement and citizenship.

Coaches and administrators are also eligible after their employment at UAH ended, with additional consideration given for continued contributions to society through community activities and performance in chosen fields which bring distinction to UAH.

Career Highlights

• Member of the UAH baseball program from 2012–15.

• Three-time First Team All-Gulf South Conference selections during his career.

• Named Gulf South Conference Player of the Year in 2013.

• Earned multiple national honors in 2013, including Rawlings/ABCA First Team All-American, NCBWA First Team All-American, and Daktronics/D2CCA First Team All-American.

• Garnered ABCA South Region Player of the Year, Daktronics/D2CCA Regional Player of the Year, and NCBWA Region Player of the Year honors in 2013.

• Two-time Rawlings/ABCA All-Region and two-time NCBWA All-Region selection.

• Set the UAH single-season batting average record by hitting .423 in 2013, a mark that still stands.

• Finished his career ranked second all-time at UAH in hits (264), stolen bases (68), and games played (202).

Career Highlights

• Member of the UAH women’s basketball program from 2010–14.

• Became the first player in UAH women’s basketball history to score 2,000 career points, reaching the milestone in 2014.

• Earned Gulf South Conference Player of the Year honors in 2013 after being named GSC Freshman of the Year in 2011.

• Three-time First Team All-Gulf South Conference selection from 2010–11 through 2012–13.

• Garnered WBCA All-America Honorable Mention recognition three times during her career.

• Twice named Daktronics First Team All-South Region honoree.

• Earned Division II Bulletin Freshman All-America honors in 2011 and Division II Bulletin All-American recognition in 2013.

Career Highlights

• Was a member of UAH men’s basketball from 2009 to 2013.
   
• Was named NABC and Division II Bulletin All-American in 2012-13.
   
• Earned GSC Player of the Year honors in 2012-13.
   
• Was a three-time All-GSC honoree in 2010-11, 2011-12, and 2012-13.
   
• Holds the UAH record for free throws made in a game with 16 makes and is the single-season leader in made free throws with 182 in 2012-13.
   
• Ranks third all-time in scoring for UAH men’s basketball with 1,980 points and fourth all-time in assists with 445.
   
• Ranks first all-time in made free throws in a UAH career with 577.
   
• Joins brothers Jason and Joe as a UAH Hall of Fame member.

• Member of the UAH women’s basketball program from 2010–14.

• Named Gulf South Conference Tournament Most Outstanding Player in 2013.

• Three-time First Team All-Gulf South Conference selection (2010–11, 2011–12, 2013–14).

• Earned WBCA All-America Honorable Mention recognition in 2014.

• Named Daktronics First Team All-South Region honoree in 2014.

• Two-time Gulf South Conference Academic Honor Roll selection.

• Comes from a Hall of Fame family, joining brothers Jason and Joe, inducted into the UAH Hall of Fame in 2025, with brother Jaime also a member of the 2026 UAH Hall of Fame class.

Career Highlights

• Founded UAH’s softball program in 1995 and led it for 30 seasons.

• Compiled a 1,268–431–1 career record with no losing seasons.

• Earned 26 NCAA Division II Tournament berths (21 straight through 2024).

• Won four South Region championships and finished national runner-up twice.

• Led UAH to nine Gulf South Conference tournament titles and 14 championship-game appearances.

• Named GSC Coach of the Year 10 times and Coach of the Decade twice.

• Coached 42 All-Americans and surpassed 1,200 career wins.

Career Highlights

• Member of the softball program from 2006–09.

• Named an NFCA All-American twice and an NFCA First Team All-South Region selection in 2007, 2008, and 2009.

• Earned Daktronics/D2CCA All-South Region honors, including First Team in 2008 and Second Team in 2009.

• Named GSC Pitcher of the Year in 2007 and First Team All-GSC honors in each season from 2006–09.

• Compiled 91 career wins from 2006–09 and posted a 1.22 career ERA allowing 123 earned runs over 705.0 innings pitched.

• Recorded 607 career strikeouts across 705.0 innings, threw 32 career shutouts, and had 60 complete games during her career.
