HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The UAH men's soccer team finished its homestand unbeaten after defeating Georgia Southwestern 4-3 in a match that featured five second-half goals.

Oli Orzechowski opened the scoring in the fourth minute off a pass from Brennan LeBlanc. GSW equalized before halftime with a goal from Axel-Ambroise Gravel.

Early in the second half, in the 48th minute, Orzechowski netted his second goal of the match to give UAH a 2-1 lead. Sixteen minutes later, Philip Seifert scored his third goal of the season to extend the advantage to 3-1.

The Hurricanes quickly responded, as Jonathan Bedard scored in the 69th minute to cut the deficit to 3-2. Just 40 seconds later, Orzechowski completed his first collegiate hat trick off a pass from Caleb Alldredge, who notched his second assist of the match. That goal proved to be the game-winner, as GSW's Cesar Rubio-Amaya scored in the 73rd minute to make it 4-3.

With the victory, UAH improved to 2-0-1 on the home stand. The Chargers will now hit the road to face Lincoln Memorial on Sunday, Sept. 14, before returning to Charger Park on Sept. 19 to open conference play against Lee.
