HUNTSVILLE | The UAH men's basketball team is set to host a pair of Gulf South Conference opponents over the weekend as they welcome Union on Friday evening and Christian Brothers on Sunday afternoon to SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall.

The Chargers enter the weekend with a 9-3 record overall and a 4-2 record in GSC play. General attendance for all home regular season men's basketball contests is free this season courtesy of Bentley Buick GMC.
UAH ranks third in the league in scoring this season with an 88.9 points per game average and are tops in the conference in field goal percentage at 49.6 percent.
Quentin Toles is leading the Blue & White in scoring this season with 18.2 points per game paired with a 41.8 percent mark from three.
Thomas Allard is also in double-digits in points per game at 15.5 with a 42.6 percent tally from behind the arc. Allard additionally leads the Chargers in rebounding this season with 6.4 boards per game.
Union enters with a 7-4 record overall and a 3-2 mark in GSC play. The Bulldogs rank fifth in scoring in the conference at 82.0 points per game and are top of the league in rejections with 3.73 blocks per game. The Chargers hold a 23-5 record all-time against Union and are currently on a three game win streak over the Bulldogs.
CBU visits Huntsville for the second time this season after competing in the Alabama Credit Union Classic earlier this season and holds a 2-7 record with a 1-4 GSC mark. The Bucs are second in the conference in offensive rebounding at 13.7 offensive boards per game. The Chargers hold a 37-9 record all-time against CBU and have won 14 consecutive meetings against the Bucs.
Following the weekend, the Blue & White will hit the road for a matchup with Montevallo on Thursday, January 8 and Auburn Montgomery on Saturday, January 10.
