The Chargers are hosting a quarterfinal matchup for the eighth consecutive year and will face off with the Blazers in a rematch of last season's GSC championship game where UAH defeated VSU 101-95.

The Blue & White are coming off of a 70-64 win over West Alabama on Friday, handing the Tigers just their third loss in GSC play, while VSU returns to the court after narrowly dropping a road contest against Montevallo 86-80.

UAH enters the conference tournament with both the fourth-ranked offense (82.5 points per game) and fourth-ranked defense (73.1 points per game) in the league. The Chargers are led offensively by Quentin Toles who is averaging 16.7 points per game this season and ranked eighth in the league in scoring during the regular season. Thomas Allard ranked 12th in the conference in scoring at 14.6 points per game, while the junior from Suwanee, Georgia, also led the Chargers in rebounding with 5.0 boards per game.

Valdosta State visits Huntsville with the top-ranked offensive attack in the conference as they have scored 93.0 points per game. The Blazers also rank last in the league in defense, giving up 88.1 points per game this season.

The Blazer offense is led by Drew Mills, who averages 19.0 points per game and ranked second in the GSC in scoring during the regular season. Blaise Wallace led Valdosta State on the boards with a 9.4 rebounds per game average while also pouring in 13.9 points per game.

Following Monday's matchup the winner will take on the winner of a matchup between top-seeded West Alabama and eighth-seed Delta State on Thursday evening. The highest seed will host the semifinal matchup on Thursday.
