UAH enters the weekend with a 13-18 overall record and a 9-12 mark in GSC play, currently sitting in eighth place in the conference standings. The Chargers are looking to bounce back after being swept by Delta State last weekend, which snapped a five-game winning streak and resulted in a current three-game skid.

Despite the recent results, UAH continues to boast one of the more productive offenses in the Gulf South Conference. The Chargers are hitting .304 as a team, averaging 7.9 runs per game, the fifth-highest mark in the league, while also ranking fourth in stolen bases with 44.

Caleb Mahan leads the offensive charge, entering the series ranked second in the GSC with a .406 batting average.

With the regular season entering its final month, UAH remains in position to qualify for the Gulf South Conference Tournament, as the top eight teams advance to postseason play.

Union travels to Huntsville with a 13-20 overall record and a 5-16 mark in conference play, currently sitting in 10th place in the GSC standings. The Bulldogs have dropped their last two games at home to No. 8 West Alabama and trail UAH by four games in the standings.

On the mound, Union is led by Cole Lannom, who ranks seventh in the GSC with a 3.16 ERA. Lannom has recorded 16 strikeouts looking, tied for third in the conference, while holding opponents to a .219 batting average, the third-lowest mark in the league.

Offensively, the Bulldogs are paced by Elijah Ramsey, who is batting .364 on the season. Ramsey's 43 hits are tied for sixth in the GSC.

Fans can follow all the action this weekend at Charger Park, with key conference implications on the line as UAH looks to strengthen its position in the postseason race.
