About the Chargers

HOT FROM 3: With four Chargers shooting better than 57 percent from beyond the arc – Spencer Palmer (100 percent), Caleb Duke (63.6 percent), Greg Gardner (60.0 percent) and Andrew Donovan (57.1 percent) – the team finds itself again near the top of the GSC in 3-point field goal percentage as UAH is third in the league with a 42.5 percentage. UAH's 12.7 3-point field goals per game is tops in the conference.
 
SOLID SOPHOMORE: Greg Gardner has been steady at the point for the Chargers so far in his sophomore campaign. Averaging 22.7 minutes per contest while starting each of the three games, the Indianapolis, Ind., native has averaged 7.3 points per game while ranking second on the squad with a 5.0 rebounding average. He also leads the team with 4.3 assists per game.
 
INTO THE MIX: Michael Gilmore recorded his first minutes of the season – and his career – last week against Alabama A&M as every Charger has now seen action this season. Gilmore redshirted last season, and he came to UAH as a highly-touted recruit, earning a 3-star rating from Rivals after a successful career at Center Point High School.

About the Opponent

ABOUT THE TROJANS: Trevecca Nazarene is 1-3 on the season while dropping its last three games. The Trojans only win came in their season opener in a 75-69 victory over Tennessee Wesleyan at home.  Trevecca visits Kelly Court averaging 81.8 points per game while outrebounding its opponents by an average of two boards a game (38-36).
 
TROJAN LEADERS:  Sophomore guard Byron Sanford leads the Trojans in scoring (15.5) and rebounding (6.8 ) while fellow teammate David Woodard is second on the team in scoring at 13.5 points per game coming off the bench. Taylor Clay comes into tomorrow's game with a team-high 10 3-pointers while shooting 55.6 percent (10-18) from downtown to lead the team.

Series History

The Trojans holds a two-game advantage over the Chargers at 5-3 in the all-time series. UAH defeated Trevecca 66-59 in their last meeting the previous season on Nov. 17. The Chargers went on a 14-7 run in the final 5:13 to defeat the Trojans at Spragins Hall.
