About the Chargers
COMING ON STRONG: In the past four games, senior forward Conner Blasi has stepped up his play for the Chargers. The Fort Wayne, Ind., native is averaging 13 points and seven boards over the past four games while shooting a blistering 68.8 percent from the field (22-for-32).In the Chargers' 84-80 victory over West Alabama on Saturday, Blasi notched his first double-double of the season with a career-high 22 points to go along with a season-high 10 rebounds.

HOME COOKING: The Chargers have taken advantage of the early home schedule this season as UAH is 5-1 at home this season with its only loss coming in a tight 74-71 contest against Stillman on Nov. 10. UAH is averaging 89.3 points at home while holding their opponents to 72.6 points per game.

LEADING THE LEAGUE: Wayne Dedrick has scored in double figures in each of the team's contest this season en route to a scoring average of 20.3 points, and that mark is the best in the conference. The sophomore has breached the 20-point plateau on four occasions, and he notched his season high with 29 points against Trevecca Nazarene on Nov. 20.

 PROTECTING THE ROCK: In the first eight games of the season, the Chargers have done an exceptional job of limiting their turnovers, averaging only 11 miscues a game. In UAH's five wins this season, the team has only given the ball up an average of 9.8 times, and UAH is third in the conference in committing the fewest giveaways per game.
About the Opponents
CHRISTIAN BROTHERS
SEASON SO FAR: CBU will visit Kelly Court at Spragins Hall with a 4-3 record on the season and 0-1 to start GSC play, and the team is averaging 77.4 points a game while holding its opponents to 65.6 points per game. The Bucs have yet to win on the road as they have dropped both of their contests away from their home floor.
LAST TIME OUT: The Bucs opened up conference play in their last game against Delta State, falling 65-63 in a tight affair. Harry Green led with a team-high 17 points while Hall had a solid outing with 12 points to go along with a team-best nine boards.
BALANCED ATTACK: Christian Brothers has been led by a balanced attack this season as four players are averaging double figures in scoring. Senior guard Harry Green is leading the team averaging 15 points per game while Sidy Hall and Trey Casey both are second at 13 points a game. Hall is averaging a team-best seven boards per game and Green is dishing out a team-high 4.4 assists per contest.
DELTA STATE
STREAKING: The Statesmen are currently riding an eight-game win streak to start the season out 8-1 with their only loss coming at the hands of current-No. 4 Florida Southern 89-66. DSU is scoring an average of 74.9 points a game while allowing its opponents to score 61 points per game, and the team is outscoring its opponents by an average of 18.5 points during its win streak.
LEADING THE WAY: Senior forward Willie Readus leads the Statesmen averaging a double-double at 19.4 points per game while grabbing 11 boards a game. Readus is also second in the GSC in scoring and third in rebounding, and his 53.2 percent shooting from the field is second in the conference as well.
LAST TIME OUT: In DSU's last contest, the Statesmen edged the Bucs 65-63 on CBU's home floor. Devin Schmidt led with a game-high 24 points on 11-for-19 shooting from the field while Willie Readus recorded a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards. The Statesmen held the Bucs to a season-low 36.9 percent shooting from the field en route to the victory.
Series History
CHRISTIAN BROTHERS: After another three meetings last year, UAH continues to handily lead the all-time series with the Bucs by a 16-5 margin. The Chargers took two of the three last year, winning 71-61 in Huntsville and eliminating Christian Brothers from the NCAA Tournament for the second year in a row in March.

DELTA STATE: Last year in the Rocket City, Delta State snapped UAH's 19-game winning streak at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall with a 59-53 decision in which Wayne Dedrick scored 13, and the all-time series leans towards Saturday's visitors by a 15-11 margin.
