The Chargers enter the two games at 18-3 (11-2 GSC).

UAH sits alone at the top of the GSC standings, and the team also leads the conference in an impressive eight statistical categories: scoring margin, free throw percentage, field goal percentage defense, 3-point field goal percentage, 3-point field goal percentage defense, 3-point field goals made, assists and assist/turnover ratio.

Smith was 6-for-10 from the floor and 8-of-9 at the charity stripe to lead the team with 22 points in the victory against Christian Brothers, and the team shot an uncharacteristically-low 30.2 percent in suffering the setback to DSU.

Christian Brothers had won three straight – punctuated by an 87-73 upset at then-No. 22 North Alabama – but the team has been riddled with injuries and fell 73-70 at Union. Four Bucs are scoring in double figures with Michael Drake pacing the team with 13.4 points per contest.

The Statesmen have lost three of four and were throttled by North Alabama 73-54 its last time out.
